First it was my brother, Bobby, the kid who never satisfied a stranger. Bobby was much like Daddy because he constantly tried to make everybody laugh. Everyone liked Bobby. We grew up poor, however Bobby constantly had people purchasing him stuff since they liked him. He was just that sort of individual. However, similar to Daddy, Bobbys flaw was that he was an alcoholic. Bobby was incarcerated for not paying on his fines for DUI and also belongings of marijuana. He had actually been attempting to get his life together. He was enrolled in a program at a technical college where he was taking auto body repair. He said he felt various there at school-- that he actually applied himself which others didnt even act like they cared. He finally had hope. But one journey back with his old friends in his old hometown sufficed to get him back into one of his old patterns and he decided to get some marijuana. He was dropped in the authorities and found to be in belongings. The day he preceded the judge was a strange day-- an almost magical day. I existed with a letter from among the directors of the school stating that he was registered in the program. However this was not enough for the Judge. When Bobbys legal representative asked if they were sure that it was marijuana, the Judge stated he didnt understand many individuals who would carry around a little bag of turnip greens. The Judge desired him to remain in the very same town and not be allowed to return to his out-of-state school. He said he thought the exact same thing may occur there. He wanted him to be with my mom at her house. The problem was that my mother had 2 kids with my step-father and the burden would have been heavy on her. So, when they asked her if he could be released to her, she hesitated. She stated, well, oh, well my spouse, uh-- I didnt hear anything else. So, Bobby stayed in prison. It was an unusual day, a really weird day. This one day, in my viewpoint, was the turning point of his life-- he started dieing that day. You just never know. When I went to visit him there at the prison and bring him a couple of things, I asked him if they ever got ice cream. He said, are you crazy-- theyd kill for ice cream here. Anyhow, after a few weeks, Bobby was released and was on his way to deal with me again when he was struck by a train. They stated he was intoxicated. I remember my sis and siblings and I going downtown to get clothes for him to wear. We wanted him to have denims, due to the fact that he always wore jeans and after that he needed to have underwear. Why did he need to have them? There was a big conversation over this, so we finally made the decision that he was going to have underclothing. The individual who was assisting us stated that they came three to a bundle; someone stated what are we going to do with the other 2 sets? The assistant there at the store, seeing the situation said that he might get shorts. However, we said he never ever used shorts. She said, ok-- Ill just take one pair out of the plan. We were half there and half elsewhere. An open-casket was more than I might take. I keep in mind thinking to myself-- where were all these people when he lived. One lady stated, doesn't he look great? I remember stating to her the only way he would look good would be if he lived. My mother truly liked Bobby because he was the only one who could make her laugh. She hasn't truly laughed much because he passed away. That was about twenty years ago.
Then there was Randy. Randy was a sweet, gentle guy who never ever hurt anybody purposefully-- other than himself. When he was just 10, he had an accident which damaged his voice box; he was driving a gocart and encountered a chain length fence. He pushed the gas instead of the brakes. However, still he didnt let that keep him from using his voice as a way to make his living. With his graveldy voice, he worked at McDonalds and took orders thru the drive in. Lots of people asked him if he had a cold. Then later on he worked for a major electronic devices company where he operated in customer support. His last significant goal was to get his RN degree; but even though he graduated with a 4.0 average, he never got to utilize it. Simply a few days after graduation, he was diagnosed with full blown AIDS. He could probably have actually lived longer if he had actually taken his anti retro viral drugs, however he stated they made him ill, so he flushed them down the toilet. HELP did not take him quickly. He suffered, so when he passed away at the hospital, I knew in my heart he would be much better off with the Lord. He did try for a while. Randy never hurt anybody except himself, so why did he leave this earth early? Randy joked about having AIDS and that Oprah should have him and Clay on her program since he felt it was probably weird for two siblings to have AIDS.
Randy and Clay both had gone to Los Angeles where they felt they were more accepted and able to live and not be judged because of their sexual preference. Clay was the greatest and was a fighter. Clay could really snap. He was more of an in your face individual. But when it concerned AIDS, he was actually included as one of the persons with full-blown AIDS who had lived the longest. This was many years ago, when everyone who got AIDS was anticipated to pass away from problems connected with AIDS. He stated all of his friends were gone, including his partner whom Congenital disorders he enjoyed. However he fought and kept a positive attitude. He informed me that at one time his T-cells were so few that he had them named.
So, why am I telling you about this? Why am I launching unpleasant details to you? It is not to make you sad. If youve check out this whole post, you are certainly an uncommon individual who is not scared to check out truth. Most people would have given up when after reading about Bobby. It is my opinion that the majority of people don't wish to deal with truth when it pertains to death and HELP. That is why people don't speak about it or why a remedy has actually not been found.
I keep in mind how individuals remarks harm me so. My pastor at church mentioned in among his preachings that in the beginning, God developed Adam and Eve; not Adam and Steve. I went up after the service and informed him how this made me feel. After that, I left my church. My bros had a relationship with God; none people are ideal. We are informed not to judge. However, individuals frequently put down and criticize something they are afraid of or do not understand. We need to all make every effort to understand each other. We should all enjoy one another. We should all know that AIDS or alcoholism or any type of disease can occur to any of us or an individual we love.
